A special purpose medium to firm gasket based on a blend of nitrile and Neoprene rubbers with a relatively low cork content. Nebar Black was specifically designed to seal hydrogen coolers on turbine generators, and distribution equipment, such as switchgear and transformers where SF6 gas is used for spark shielding and transformers filled with sulphur hexafluoride gas.

Recommended maximum system pressure is 0.5Mpa/5bar. May be used for higher pressures in consultation with Tiflex technical support.
